Report Details

Remember that an inspection is a visual analysis performed for the purpose of providing a professional opinion and report by a licensed inspector evaluating the condition of accessible major systems and components of a dwelling.  We use the following terms to identify the conditions of components we inspect:

Acceptable

The component/system is performing its intended function at the time of the inspection.

Marginal

The component/system is marginally acceptable.  It performed its designed fnction at the time of the inspection.  However, due to age and/or deterioration, it will likely require early repair or replacement.

Repair/Replace

The component/system failed to operate/perform its intended function, was structurally deficient, was unsafe or was hazardous at the time of the inspection.
